Why the name 'Harmony in Colours'?

Holi is the Hindu festival of colours. It marks the victory of good over evil.

Harmony day is a celebration of our diversity. It is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all.

Harmony day, celebrated around the same time as Holi, ties in with the Hindu values of equality and love for all living things. The Hindu festival of Holi emphasises that each and every colour is beautiful. Those who have played Holi before would know that when everyone is covered in colour, there is no differentiation of colour, religion, culture, background, age or gender: all are equal. With this vision, we name our event Harmony in Colours
